MDS, M-ORTHO (UK) post graduated in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics from MCODS, Manipal with a distinction.

He obtained his membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and went on to work in MCODS, Manipal as an assistant professor prior to joining Manipal Hospital in January 2004. His professional interests include non-extraction orthodontic treatment, growth modification and technological advances in orthodontics. He has several scientific publications in national and international journals to his credit. He won the best research paper award in 2003 for his presentation at the Indian Orthodontic Conference.
